Yes... it's a romper with dinosaurs on it .....

At what age would you stop wearing clothes like this?

OP won't be back, so doesn't matter what anyone thinks.

IndianSummer78 · 22/06/2024 16:09

There isn't really an age to stop wearing it. It's a garment designed for middle aged women and older who are into that sort of thing. It's not something designed for a younger adult who is into fashion and the colours would be different if it was for children.

Shan5474 · 22/06/2024 16:15

When you are too old to be able to take it off to pee! I like it, it has a boho kind of style. It doesn’t look childish to me, there are loads of prints around with moths and bugs on at the mo so I’m not sure why any animal or creature would only be allowed to be worn by kids

Clingfilm · 22/06/2024 16:15

Never. If we were all neutral coloured capsule wardrobe type people, we might as well live in some totalitarian state 😁

DullFanFiction · 22/06/2024 16:16

I don’t know …. A 100yo maybe?

If you enjoy it and feel like it, go for it.
Life is too short to worry about ‘dinosaurs are for children only - or if you work with children’.
Clothes wo dinosaurs are not going to suddenly make you more of an adult.

I don't believe in age limits for clothing. If you like it and you want to wear it - go for it!
Beige and grey separates could be your thing, so could dinosaur romper suits or gold lame hotpants. Have fun!

Daisymae55 · 22/06/2024 16:21

I’m 33 and if I was a tad bit slimmer I would totally wear this! Love it 💕

Tiredalwaystired · 22/06/2024 16:24

If I liked it I’d wear it. The person judging me for wearing something that makes me feel good would be the one with the problem, not me!

Itsmeamandaberry · 22/06/2024 16:29

5 because I'm not one of these adults that think dinosaurs are cool. In fact I don't think I have ever liked them 🤫

Mummyofbananas · 22/06/2024 16:33

I'd wear that and I'm 37, I'm short with longish legs so playsuits look ok on me and I think the print is cute. I think that would look fantastic on some older women it just depends if it suits.

Yousay55 · 22/06/2024 16:37

If I looked that good I’d wear it at any age!

GingerPirate · 22/06/2024 16:57

I don't like rompers, but the dinosaurs are cool.
No problem, I'm 45, no weight issues.

mathanxiety · 22/06/2024 16:57

Probably around age 6.

itschemical · 22/06/2024 16:58

Thank you all for the comments. I am almost 49 and yes, it is me.

I'm very much a tomboy at heart, but this just caught my eye. It's out of my normal comfort zone of skull tees, cargos or dungarees, but I was willing for a summer to happen, so I purchased it and yesterday I got to wear it.

The shoes, yes, the shoes, I would have normally thrown on my DMs but it was too hot and being of a certain age, the hot flushes are every few mins so I needed feet out. but I am looking at some DM sandals which I think would have been better, but those shoes are my mothers... I was desperate 😂

I think you look great! DM sandals would be excellent 👌

itschemical · 22/06/2024 16:59

... and getting to the loo was easy, slipped off the shoulder in a second, a lot faster than unclipping dungarees when you're in a hurry.

QuestionableMouse · 22/06/2024 17:00

I'd sadly look like a toddler in a romper but if you like it and it's comfortable then why stop?

itschemical · 22/06/2024 17:02

toomanyjobsforonewoman · 22/06/2024 14:13

Likely never. I'm 51 and wearing a rollerskate jumpsuit - don't worry about ages wear what makes you happy 😊

Love that print xxx

You look fucking fantastic op!!! 👽 (that's a jealous emoji)

49?? 😩😩😩

TheFluffiestCat · 22/06/2024 19:55

About 3, or whenever potty training got serious.

Fraa · 22/06/2024 19:57

You look great OP, it suits your figure and style. I'm a similar age, if I had your legs I'd wear it too.

TryingToSeeTheFunnySide · 22/06/2024 20:00

I think you should wear whatever you want whenever you want till any age you like! Whatever makes you happy 😊

Catopia · 22/06/2024 20:09

I'm 35 and I would totally wear it but I do sometimes wonder if I've left the house dressed like a toddler. But I wear suits all week at work, so I like to wear clothes at the weekend that make me happy, even if the overall look does sometimes give nursery school teacher vibes.

Whooper · 22/06/2024 20:10

Given the style profile of the lady in the photo I'd wear it until id get sick of it if I was her.

Hippomumma · 22/06/2024 20:13

That’s definitely a confidence and personality thing rather than age. Oh and maybe size. You look amazing. I’d look like an overweight oversized toddler with boobs. Rock it since you can. I’ll rock something different (I’m 37 btw).
