A scientific survey for those who have periods

So, off the back of the "painkillers" thread I am genuinely fascinated by women's varying experiences with period pain.
I have a host of gynae conditions, but kind of just assume that everyone has a similar level of pain and pops paracetamol like Haribo (within safe limits). But perhaps that isn't the case.

Can you answer my poll, for science (and curiosity)? Or add a comment.

And using the word people isn’t wrong either, because women & girls are people.

That is true, it's not wrong, but only women and girls have periods. Not men or boys. Only women and girls have periods. 'People' is an umbrella term like dementia is to Alzheimer's.

Sadly I feel it's vital to explicitly state women and girls nowadays. There are certainly men out there that cosplay women, but they're not women. I'm sorry if that's offensive, but it's a fact.

I don’t think it’s vital because it’s totally obvious even to children which people get periods.

Painful here. I've come to dread the pain so much that I start to take ibuprofen a day before due date in anticipation. It's a throw up kind of pain. I can't see a poll, but I guess that's because I'm using the mumsnet app?
