Pictures emerging of him in handcuffs today.

What's the bet that he will released a supposedly heart-felt statement apologising for his wrong doings and then enter rehab (the celebrity get-out-of-jail-free card)?

Horrible, arrogant man that he is. He's also incapable of being faithful apparently.

Drink driving is utterly reprehensible and I really cannot see why it's treated like a minor misdemeanour and celebs are do their tiny bit of penance then it's all to be forgotten about.

Agree, celebs like to kid on they're all genuine and humble etc. But they mostly aren't! It's all fake!

No doubt he's on his way to an exclusive rehab facility and there will be a statement issued about how he's struggling with depression and/or addiction to prescription medications.

It always amazes me how in US films/tv they always seem to sink a load of martinis/wine/beer then get behind the wheel and it’s not even a plot device. I find it really strange and uncomfortable. Is there a big problem with DD over there?

I think there will be a PR statement, possibly a video from him apologising. I think they will then try to push on with his tour and put it behind him. If the tour is cancelled then I think it will be an nsync reunion after he’s been to rehab. It will be the only way to go.

So whenever a celeb does something people don't realise they are normal people like the rest of us it is only the public that think they own them

A man weighing 200lbs will have a lower BAC after two beers than a woman weighing 120 lbs. Both would probably be under .08% but the woman would be a lot closer to the limit.

We all do indeed have life’s troubles. The vast majority of us however do not solve them by getting pissed up and then saving the cost of a cab (we could easily afford) by driving when knowingly over the limit, putting innocent members of the public at risk.

Spme states use the term DWI (driving while intoxicated). This is what JT has been charged with, in NY state.

It's not hard, especially when you are mega loaded, to order a cab, and come back and get your car the next day.

Or even, if you are drinking at a hotel, perhaps booking a room for the night.
