Has anyone been before? Would you recommend it? If so, how long would you recommend going for? They have a "deal" where you can go for 2 days rather than just the one - is it worth it. Or will 1 day be more than enough?

Also, as we'd have to travel HOURS to get there, any recommendations of other things to do in the area to make it a little "holiday".

Thanks everyone :)

Its amazing. Really clean and well run park. Our children loved it over the years, sadly now too grown up to go. We did thetwo day over night deal once. It was really good as we were able to take our time doibg the park. However, I think it probably depends on childrens ages. There are some rides for older children which made it worthwhile for 2 days.

How old are your kids?

It's the best park for small children because there is so much they can go on in comparison to Legoland, Chessington etc. Rides are also all very close together.

We went 2 years ago. We live in NE Scotland so coupled it with time in Portsmouth for her big brother who is Nelson/naval ships obsessed. Kids were 4 and 7 at the time. Youngest could go on all but one ride in the park as a whole. We arrived at opening time, did the other zones til 1.30ish, ticked off all the other rides, grabbed lunch and then went to Peppa Pig zone and did everything there. Then we redid a few favourites a couple of times.

They both also loved the Naval dockyard in Portsmouth and Porchester Castle.

It’s great as it also has other rides outside the Peppa bit. They also have static rides that are all free. Depends how old your kids are and what they like. We went last year when my son was 2, but he would have outgrown the Peppa rides now as he prefers faster rides.

Winchester is nearby and lovely to visit lots of things to do there depending on kids ages eg. Science centre
and an interactive history thing 878 AD with a linked city tour you do through an app on your phone.

New Forest, Beaulieu, Monkey World, Tank Museum

Portsmouth is a good shout - historic dockyard, portChester castle, Southsea sea front and Pier

Marwell Zoo is fab and reasonably close by. Also Manor Farm. A Holiday Inn hotel at Titchfield about half hour drive away, does Peppa weekends which are VV popular! It’s absolute carnage at breakfast though! 😅

We did it when Dts were 3, they were tall enough to go on some of the other rides as well. We had a two day ticket and holiday inn combo tbh one day was enough in the park, but we went in October so less question I would imagine than in summer
