I'm just making my first cuppa of the day to drink in the 'spot' I've claimed here in Liverpool 🤣.

What a night last night! We screamed, sang, and danced the night away 💃 It was fabulous!

I'm hoping everyone's up shortly so we can head into the city, do some of the Taylor Trail & explore a bit. Plus find somewhere good to eat 😋

Tonight will be showers and an early one all round I think, ready for more exploring tomorrow.

I’m still in bed reading and doing a cheeky online shop for a holiday in Ireland in August. The weather can be so changeable so I’ve definitely got holes in my wardrobe.

Father’s Day fuss has been made - brought my DH cappuccino in bed (usually the other way round!) and a sausage sandwich.

About to hit the shower as need to wash my hair - I have a new copper hair mask I’m going to try out as my strawberry blonde is fading - bit nervous will turn out neon orange!

Then we’ll drop my DD1s friend home and go to the RHS for a wander.

Then we have a table booked for dinner tonight in a lovely cosy pub with my dad and brother, DH and two DDs.

So a lovely but busy day - must get some chores done as well.

Had a proper sleep in today which was lovely as I was shattered. Need to pop and get some stuff for lunches this week and then back to finish off the last bits of cleaning before the footie! have a great day all!

I’m shattered this morning, as DD came swaggering into our room at 4 am and got into bed, to wriggle, kick and watch sodding Blippi until we gave up and got up.

She’s at her Sunday club now. When she gets back, my dad’s coming round for a late lunch and Father’s Day LOLs. I really ought to start cooking.

Hoping for an early night, as we’ll all be knackered.

Weather is rubbish here and really cold so I've popped the heating on for an hour. DH is off to get new tyres then is heading back to work for the week, leaving me and DDs 3 and 5 to have a lazy one with ddog. Tonight is an early night all round for us - 10 days until we head to Cyprus, can't wait!

I have no real plans for today. The sun is shining, so I should do a bit in the garden. I'm home alone this evening, so I need to find a film or box set to watch.

Sounds like the concert lived up to expectations!
Here just eating brunch: two eggs, slice seeded toast, avocado, smoked salmon and tomatoes. Second egg a bit cheeky but they are already two days beyond 'best by'.
Expecting Tesco delivery but thinking I can fit in dog walk before.
Then not a lot! Sundays I like to keep free of chores and crap. So if I spend the day on MN that's fine 🤣! My DD has dinner duty tonight. We will continue watching the Hollywood miniseries, she'll go to bed, another dog walk, then I'll continue watching Maestro in Blue (highly recommend on Netflix).

Glad you had a great time @lucysmam ! We were at a beer festival yesterday and camped out, so woke up in a tent with a mild hangover this morning :) packed everything up and went to Wetherspoons for breakfast with our friends. Just got
home and we’re going straight back out again to my mums for lunch and to collect the children.

Not sure what we’ll do this afternoon as the weather looks iffy but DH wants a takeaway and movie tonight

Pleased you enjoyed the concert, sounds fab. I saw you were going yesterday but I couldn't find the thread again to respond.
So yesterday I gave the kitchen a good scrub and vacuumed all downstairs before the kids were up
DH met up with friends and went ot a model rail exhibition.
Once she was up, DD and I went to the local nature reserve and had a walk then decided to drive to Waitrose. Unfortunately we got nearly there and found that the police had closed the road so we couldn't!
Came back, had lunch at home and went to Aldi!
DS did his bathroom jobs (cleaning the bath) then went into town and round the shops for a father's day present, DD already had hers.
Today I have taken DS to and from church and made the dinner. DD and I had hoped to get some cycling in but there is an ominous grey cloud so we're just going to go for a walk and nip into Tesco on the way back.
We decided to leave our Father's Day stuff til next weekend once I've been paid! He has, however, opened his presents of jelly babies, after eight mints and a book he wanted.

Evening all. Worked 10. 30 till 4 on the till standing up... 😴 😴 😴
Ds2 has gone to watch Gio and Anton and is doing a meet and greet afterwards so will prob be woken up for that.
