Place to park to get a tube into London?

We are going to London just for one day next Sunday and would like to park out of the congestion zone and get a tube in.
We are driving down from Nottingham. Can anyone please suggest somewhere to park? Thanks

Anywhere on the northern branch of the northern line really. Roads are free to park on Sundays. Check Parkopedia for Finchley Central/East Finchley/Golders Green etc.

We use EALING Broadway shopping centre which is 5 minutes from the Station but we come in off the M4

Stanmore has a huge car park, although we used Watford Junction for the first time a few weeks ago and that worked out well for us.

Yes somewhere like that or Arnos Grove or Oakwood on the Piccadilly Line. Or Bounds Green.

Why not just get the train from Nottingham?

Arnos Grove station (north London) has parking around there, you'd have to book it online I think. There's spaces from £8 a day on the road next to it

Hillingdon I've used but Watford is probably more on your route.

Coming from the North - Stanmore or Cockfosters. I use Just Park to park on somebodies drive. Do it quite a few times in the football season.

It might be quicker to park at Stevenage or Luton, depending on whether you are coming via A1 or M1. The train from either of those would be quicker than driving further in & then getting a tube.
