Are these things any good? I want to help my neck, and this seems OK on the surface but I don't want to make anything worse.

I don't see how that would do anything? You could lie on a foam roller and get a better stretch which would include your chest.l and have a thing that has multiple functions.

Chin tucks and rows etc would strengthen your back and help your back be straighter.

i don't think it's worth it

You can’t fix your natural anatomy. Don’t waste your money.

MadameDePompityPomp · 13/06/2024 11:49

no idea about the gadgets but there are exercises you can do to fix your dowager's hump. you don't need to just accept it.

@MadameDePompityPomp which exercises would help? Is this something I'd need a gp appt for? I don't feel the problem is that bad but equally I don't want to ignore it.

You don't need a GP appointment unless you have a hump caused by something more severe like osteoarthritis.

If it's just poor posture try stretching your pecs, Chin tucks (kind of like a reverse chicken peck motion, where you drew your head back), wall angels, scapular retractions.

Very basic, but it can be worth checking for posture that you have the right size bra, not one that's too loose in the band and the weight is borne by the straps.

They're rubbish (I confess I bought one)

A good pillow, stretching and loosing weight probably most helpful.
