I’m actually in shock and petrified , I took a pregnancy test this morning as i have had some very similar symptoms to my last pregnancy. Super sensitive nipples, really bad nausea and I am late on my period.
i thought I was in peri also my husband had a vasectomy almost 14 years ago after we completed our family. We are 43 and 44
what are the odds?!?! TMI we have only been intimate in February and end of April.
i obviously have googled and I know a false positive is really rare but it does happen.
im on a LOT of medication including anti psychotics chlopromazine, mirtazapine anti anxiety meds pregablib, hypothyroidism meds and others.
im going to call my GP tomorrow I’m also due to see my MH nurse in the morning so will discuss with her.
my heads all over the place the vasectomy our ages I know we are not super old but oir family was completed 13 years ago, I don’t think i could go through with a termination we had a late loss before our last DC.
i also had two very bad pregnancies the last two went into prem labour at 28 weeks with our last DC.
i really don’t know what to think

Ultimately, the only way to get a positive is an increase in HCG levels. Whether that is a side effect of any of your medications is a question for your GP but I would tentatively suggest that you are indeed pregnant. Have you told your DH about the test?

No I haven’t he had a bad injury last week so is already stressed. I have told my best friend and yes I think blood tests to see the levels will be a good idea if the doctor will do/refer me.
surly it must be very low odds I am but the sooner I know the better I guess
