As a cleaner would this put you off?

Thinking about getting a cleaner again. Different house and location so can't use old cleaners.
We'd want downstairs, living room, dining room, kitchen, conservatory, toilet and some of upstairs my bedroom, ensuite, kids bathroom, stairs and landing. Not dcs rooms or dh room and my office.
We have 2 cats and 2 dogs (who can go outside if needed)
House is cluttered /untidy but cleanish.
Would we be better to go for a deep clean then regular cleans every fortnight?
If you are a cleaner would you be put off?

Contact a couple and ask, being honest about the actual state of your home and asking what they include in their services. My cleaner has said before that she won’t clean anywhere cluttered or untidy because it makes the job so much more difficult, clients often expect her to tidy as well, and even if they don’t the results just never look as good as in a tidy home and some clients complain. But some cleaners won’t mind, and some will even tidy as an extra service.

I'm not a cleaner, but if I was it wouldn't put me off IF you were prepared to pay for it taking longer & prepared for the job not to look as amazing.

I never tidy before a clean. When I’m hiring someone new (which has only been because of house moves), I say ‘This is what you’re going to get weekly — tell me realistically what you can get done in three hours a week’. No one’s ever said ‘Ugh, no’, and we’ve had longterm good relations with cleaners in several countries for years.

I'm a cleaner/housekeeper and I really don't mind some clutter but there is a limit. If there's too much, you literally spend 90% of your time moving stuff around, which gives no job satisfaction and clients don't see much of a difference. However, if its mainly floors and bathrooms, this wouldn't seem to be as relevant.
