Taylor Swift Edinburgh Concerts

Has anyone been to the Taylor Swift concerts in Edinburgh who could tell me if they are asking for ID for people with standing tickets.

I have tickets for Wembley in a couple of weeks time and when buying the tickets somehow completely missed the rule about no under 14s in the standing area. My daughter is 13 but very tall (5ft 9) so I am trying to work out whether to chance it.

I would hate to get there and we are turned away as she will be gutted and it would also be a huge waste of money.

The likelihood of getting seated tickets is slim (without getting scammed) so I feel a bit stuck at the moment and wanted to hear anyone's recent experiences.

I went in Europe not the UK and they were meticulous about checking passports for the ages of teens they were stopping every single one.....sorry! Hopefully someone will have better news for you or they are more relaxed in the UK.

Thank you. That's what I thought might happen. Everyone I've spoken to has told me to chance it but I would hate build up my daughter's expectations only to be turned away.

I can’t answer what happens getting in but there are literally loads of tik toks this weekend with young kids on the pitch at Murrayfield. Some as young at 7/8/9.

My friend was there last night and said there were really little kids in the standing area. Her daughter was 13 and never got asked for any ID.

The strictness will be stadium specific, not Taylor specific, the door people aren't 'hers'. Sounds like Murrayfield were relaxed, but no guarantee Anfield will be, and with Liverpools history they might be more careful than many other stadiums. You best bet if you are night 2 or 3 is to see how night 1 goes, but even if you hear they aren't checking you could end up with the only strict person checking your tickets.

Was in murrayfield last night and saw two girls about 8/9 in the standing area. I was quite shocked

I was at Murrayfield last night and I saw kids about age 8-9 down on the standing area, just at the back not in amongst the main crowd. I was surprised to see them there as I knew there was an age limit.

Thank you. I really don't think anyone would be surprised to see my daughter in standing as she could easily pass for 14 and at 5' 9 she is tall than a lot of adults.

My best option would be to get some seating tickets but most ticket sales seem to be scams and the official resale ones are like gold dust. Hmmm!

Hi, just wondering if you managed to get in? I'm in exactly the same situation - but not going until August so wondering how strict they are being in June. My daughter keeps getting asked how she is a child most places we go but this is the one time she needs to look older.

The issue is that it depends on who you have on the door when you get there. You might encounter the only security guard for the entirety of the Eras tour who would ask for ID but it could happen.
