How much Is your house worth compared to how much equity you have in it?

Just out of curiosity really?

Had our house recently valued at around £600k with a £150k mortgage but we’ve spent around the same doing it up and its been extremely hard and stressful. However feeling very lucky that we’ve been able to do so and very taken aback by the valuation.

Worth around 550, 150 mortgage left to go.

I had to start again at 50 after divorce so very happy to have got this far.

House is worth £375k according to valuation done by mortgage lender. I remortgaged last October owing £140k, not sure how much I owe now.

I own about 90% of mine. 40k mortgage which we will try to overpay when dd1 is out of the uni money pit.
