How long is enough at Disneyland?

Desperate to take my children to Disneyland. My eldest (4) is always begging a us to go.. that day usually 😂 and my 2yo is Disney obsessed.

I last went in 2015 and we went for 3 days. I think this was enough for just me and DH. But we’ve never been since having the kids and I’m wondering if 3 days will cover it all?

Any Disney -advice in general? Thanks!

Which one?

3 days enough at that age, it's very tiring. Try and do a character meal, it's a good way to get photos. And if there 2 of you, one can queue for something that takes a long time while the other gets in a few rides with dc.

Depends which one. If the Florida one with small children you will want at least 10 days so that you can see everything and have some down days in between otherwise tiredness will be overwhelming.

Disneyland Paris - depending on flight/ferry times I usually think that 3 night is enough, usually gives you two full days and 2 half days if you can get decent flight times.

One day for each park, also gives you time to double up on their favourite things. If you don’t want to queue for characters, book in a character meal, saves time queuing and makes for a more relaxed meet.

If you are staying in an on-site hotel you’ll get early morning access, definitely make use of that. In my opinion it’s not worth staying in one of the fancier hotels, you don’t spend anytime there, sequoia lodge and Cheyenne have always been enjoyed by my kids.

Do you mean Paris? We stayed for 4 nights and that was enough.

Save your money, sanity, time and go to Universal instead. puts tinfoil hat on

I think it depends on what time of year your going too. We went for the May half term last year and several of the queues for rides were 90 minutes. My daughter managed it but she was bored and fed up. She also couldn't cope with two Disney days together. So we did one day at one park, had a day off in between and then did the other park the following day

We went to DLP when elder dc were 5 and nearly 3. We did 5 nights and 5 days and could easily have spent longer there. We spent one day in Paris though.

I take you mean Paris. We went last yr with almost 4yr old and 6yr old.

We stayed 5 nights and we had 4 1/2 days in the parks. We didn't manage everything but only missed a couple of small rides. My kids loved, loved, loved mtg characters. So we spent a lot of time doing that. We also saw every single show of which there are many but they are all so gd!

I would say u need at least 3 full days (although I would opt for more) at the parks to get in a decent amount of stuff.

We went towards end of sept and it was still so busy so some of the ride times were 1hr+ wait time. We also stayed on site so got access an hour before the park opened to non Disney hotel guests. That meant some things that were very busy we got on within 10-15mins which helped.

Our hotel had a pool and we never got round to using it!

We went with another couple taking two four year olds and a seven year old. We stayed four nights, this gave us plenty of time to wonder around all the parks, and spend plenty of time in everyone's favourite. If you've got two younger ones, I suspect they'll be a fair few rides they might not be able to go on, so you could do one day less, unless you're happy to repeat quite a few things and relax a bit more (after all it's a mini holiday!)
