A clue pls

This is my first time giving a clue so bear with me!

The 998 and 996 need you to do this.

I only found this about a week ago too and I’m hooked.

I haven't got very far since my 1 earlier 🤣. Am I on the right track please?

980 is a response to 979, but if someone is 979 then they are also likely to need to be TARGET.

Maybe move away from 980 and 979 theme.

This is annoying. And I have 991, 980 979 and 1...

Are 936 and 931 useful?

@WhatICallMyUsername The first letter is the same as that of 863 and TARGET is two letters longer than 863. The second letter (and third) of 863 is the same as the third letter of TARGET. You need to TARGET yourself if you are to be accepted in society...

@PuttingDownRoots if you are 936ing someone, you will need to 991 and TARGET them.

@thaegumathteth not sure if you've got it yet, but if not, think about what items you 667 to 631 - this should get you 995, then remove the last letter!

Thats the problem I cant think the stupid word!!!
