If teenagers' brains aren't developed properly

Until around age 25, which is the excuses we see a lot on here for why they are so molly-coddled and not expected to be adults until about 30, should 16-17 yr olds be able to vote?

I don't really want people that can't make critical decisions or have fully developed brains, voting for anything that may affect me tbh.

Surely your argument means that the current voting age is also too young?

I’m happy with it being 18.

I think some 16-17 year olds might like a say about Rishi's plan for national service when they reach 18.

People with diagnosed dementia are allowed to vote.
