Technically, I met dh in the queue for the Last Night of the Proms, so ds1 would be Albert - and if he’d been a girl, Halle.

But I actually met him outside a pub in South Kensington, called the Builders Arms! 😂 You could leave the Albert Hall, as long as you were signed in on the list, and slept in the queue every night, so I’d been taken to the pub, after the Thursday night concert, by a friend I met in the queue, and dh and I were standing in the gutter outside the pub when I met him!

Not me but my mate met her dh at the morgue when they were both medical students about to do an autopsy.

The Morgue does have a ring to it!

If their child becomes a professional wrestler, it'd be perfect! 😄

Sorry to be pedantic but if it's the same Builders Arms that I drink in, it's classed as Kensington (it's at the back of High Street Kensington) and not South Kensington. Although only a short distance apart, the two places are classed as quite different places. Just don't want you to go through life thinking you met in difference areas of London! 🤣

My sons are now well old enough to know and realise where their dad and I met . They do look at us a bit funny, you had family there and went there and met each other .It's not my proudest moment .Some of you will get it .
