How much of a twat would I be to get a beach cart?

Going on UK beach holiday in July. 2 kids 2 & 4. Plan on taking lunch with us plus all the usual towels, some foldable chairs, drinks, buckets and space, changing bag etc etc (might take DH too 😄)

I've been eyeing one of these up. Something like the attached

But....how useful are they and will I look like an utter twat??

Middle class or not, makes for happy campers.

I want one of these but wooden, to carry children in. I can't find one anywhere.

Here's the one you want...

In Devon now with ours. Absolutely brilliant and these wheels work well on the sand. We cart the 3/5year old around in it, plus beach tent, chairs etc with body boards on backs.

That looks brilliant.

We had an hour to buy one after one of our dogs needed to be transported on a day out so my husband drove to Argos and bought a cart, which was excellent I must say but I do like the wheels on your one.

We only needed to use ours for one day but your one looks much more durable.

I wouldn't say it was a particularly middle class look tbh!! I wouldn't worry about that.

The outoftowners comment is more that it's those who come laden with all sorts whereas locals can nip down for a few hours travelling light.

They're a good idea if you're carrying a lot and kids are small. But you do need bigger wheels for sand/grass.

You see a lot of these at festivals and it makes sense for those with a lot of beach kit too!
