Can anyone recommend me a dermatologist (South York's/wider Yorkshire area) please

I'm currently seeing an NHS dermatologist (actually three that work on rotation at my local hospital.) - but I don't feel like I'm making any progress with them. I have

•	extensive keratosis pilaris
•	skin damage from being inappropriately given steroids to treat a skin problem on my feet (topical steroids?) I can't be sure what the initial problem was due to the damage unfortunately
•	random patches of red, itchy, patchy skin on my lower legs (not necessarily a rash but close to it)
•	extremely dry skin

Does anybody have recommendations for a good dermatologist? Ideally I need

•	someone who will listen to me/the effect my skin problems have had and are continuing to have on my life and not be dismissive
•	someone who is willing to work with me and attempt to improve my skin (I've been with my current dermatologist for 18 months + with no improvement)

I'm located in South Yorkshire and NHS or private recommendations from there or the wider Yorkshire area are fine, I just really, really need to get this sorted, it sounds silly, I know, but this has been affecting my life for 12 years ☹️

Dr Ruth Murphy is good. She used to be at Thornbury.

I have extremely dry skin. What emoillients do you use? Balneum is the best.

Thanks for the suggestion 😊 I was prescribed balneum by the GP for use on my feet where the skin damage is a few years ago and find it works well enough - nobody suggested I try using it on the rest of my skin too so I'll try that!

I had terrible dry skin after menopause.

Balneuim once a day sorts it. It’s meant to be twice a day but l feel too sticky with that.
