Feeling despondent over weight loss - can you see a difference between these two pics?

Hopefully I've disguised myself enough!

I've lost two stone over the past few months but at a small plateau right now so thought I'd do a comparison pic.

I know the angle isn't quite right but does lower face look even slightly less round? Hard to stay motivated when you're at a standstill!!

You look great - the calories in, is that since you began or what you’ve always eaten? So is it exercise mostly or a combo of diet and exercise?

@DancesWithBadgers I was eating err 3000 calories a day? Maybe up to 4,000 some days now I consider all the pizza / cheese sandwiches and chocolate I would eat.

I'm not really a believer in cutting back to say, 1200 calories a day. It just doesn't have longevity and leaves you nowhere to go as you lose weight so best to stick to working it out (tdee) and I come out at around 1400-1600 ish - closer to 1600 really.

I also don't low carb or intermittent fast or anything like that. And it's definitely the combination but more the diet for sure

The second photo looks completely different , have you had a nose job as well

I also thought lip fillers and nose job when I first commented about the weight loss!! (But see you have answered since)

I have also had some success in reducing my jowls after eating more protein and less carbs. Not dramatic, but a bit.

@KateMiskin the jowls thing so annoying. I only stacked this weight on since lockdown but even when normal weight, I can be a bit jowly - it's an age thing alas!

To be honest you look like you've had work done - in a good way.

@FreshStar hard to get the exact angle again so I just tried to not take a 'flattering' photo - just look head on.

However I can't lie, I really didn't want to actually recreate photo 1
