Bloody Dyson

Fed up of bits going wrong and having to spend a fortune to replace them. I'm never spending £300 on a Dyson vacuum again.

Please recommend a good one (pet hair) for less than £200.

Unless Mr Dyson would like to give me a free one🙄

Corded Shark lift away, best one I've ever had and still leaves stripes in the carpet. I regularly wash or change the filters, which helps, obviously.

Shark! I just got the handheld one (half price via Vodafone discount thing) and it's amazing. 1000x better than the shite Dyson it replaced.
For full size hoover it has to be Henry or Shark. Hated my upright Dyson and I celebrated its demise 😁

Wouldn’t buy one out of principal anyway.

Miele cat and dog for a whole house hoover-quality vacuums
Shark anti hair wrap for the endless dog hair bit lightweight.
Dyson cordless is shit.

We bought a dyson years ago. Thnalfully it was from Argos - gosh it was heavy and lacked IMO power and it was very expensive compared to others but we bought it as it one of the only bagless efforts around that time - we returned it and never wanted another of the Dyson brand

Dyson products are a triumph of marketing over engineering. Whoever managed to persuade women to part with £450 for a hairdryer should be running the country.

Oh gosh I hate my cordless Dyson so much. I really regret making a whole case for DH that it would be a worthwhile buy too 😭
Piece of useless plastic. Urgh.

If the issue is the battery then you can use a battery that is attached to a drill instead. Just attach it where the battery is and it goes like the clampers!

I can vouch for Miele Cat and Dog - ours is still going strong after 23 years and 5 dogs have come and gone in that time.

I have a cordless Shark but after a short while it's struggled to keep up. Glad I kept my Henry.
