Hi a woman with children across from me are wearing coats instead of sun cream in this hot weather she’s sat watching him play with a friend and I know that the father of her children spends their money on alcohol when the bin men come around there’s loads of alcohol bottles and cans to be collected he goes to the shop most days for it I don’t know if she’s just allergic or if she has no money for sun cream which I suspect I have a spare bottle I could offer but I don’t want to upset anyone I live in a neighbourhood where everyone wants to help each other if they need , but I have never spoken to her

I was worried they might get upset.
To clarify they were wearing winter coats not zipped with hoods up in very hot sunny weather. Where I am it has been roasting the last few days. I was out for a few minutes without sun cream and got nasty sun burn. So it’s not a case of me having a preference of temperature. It literally was roasting

Sure you did 🙄

I'm off out now to put my empties in the recycling bin in my puffer parka.

My eldest likes to wear his winter coat in all weathers, we usually have to bribe him out of it when it gets really hot! We have lots of sunscreen available. I thought it was weird but have seen lots of kids come out of his school with coats on and hoods up on hot days, so its not that unusual. This is secondary school age.

Maybe her kids are baby roadmen.

I think you'd be better off spending your time worrying about full stops instead of what the neighbours are doing.

100% this!
