Sun Bed for Bad Skin?

I'll preface by saying I'm well aware of the dangers of sun-beds and isn't something I would ever usually consider HOWEVER...

Since I have been on a new treatment plan for Endo (6 months so far of non-hormonal treatment which is working an absolute dream) my already oily and spot prone skin has taken a terrible turn... I have what I think is Ance Rosacia (or looks like) and have tried several topical treatments including a couple of expensive 'taylor made' products, and basically nothing has changed.

I have just come home from 10 days in Europe in the sun. Well. I am an avid SPF30 wearer, but my skin was literally transformed within the first 48 hours of being there. It was 90% clear with no bumps or new breakouts by day four, and stayed that way the rest of the following week. Using the same products as at home.

I wear minimal powder products as with nearly-40 skin I no longer favour liquid make-up.

I'm home 2 days and it's flaring up.. redness returning and bumps are appearing on my forehead/nose/cheeks etc.

So - do we think that sunbeds might help to calm my skin, and if so it there a safer way to use them? Do I wear SPF? How many minutes etc? I'm quite olive tones so tan nicely rather than burn, with SPF obviously!

Any thoughts from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks very much
