I have no energy. What is wrong with me?

For the past month I feel like I am constantly tired, have no energy to do anything, my legs ache and I have brain fog.

I'm 28, work part-time desk based, have DD aged 8, eat a healthy balanced diet, drink lots of water, rarely drink coffee, sleep 7-8 hours etc. but I still cannot get passed this feeling of being off, I feel as though I could fall asleep at any minute.

I feel more exhausted now than when DD was a newborn and I had minimal sleep, or when I worked full time in a very physically active job. I don't feel depressed, I have gained some weight over this past year, I don't weigh myself but I still fit into my size 10 clothes, but not the size 8 I was in before, I love my job, my home life is easy, I cannot pinpoint one thing that could be causing me to feel so extremely fatigued.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Would it with going to your GP and asking for blood tests to check for anaemia thyroid function etc?

ask for blood test, How you might have anemia, vit D deficiency, or anything, we would not know!

Definitely check thyroid. I didn't get my underactive thyroid checked until my 30s and regret it terribly. I sleepwalked through my mid to late 20s in an exhausted fog and missed many good times.

I feel like that again now but thyroid is stable and apparently my iron is incredibly low, but at least I have an explanation this time.

I hope the fatigue resolved, did you ever figure out the cause (I'm in similar kind of situation now)?

Definitely get iron checked but,... Ask for your results and self check. The NHS bar for iron is extremely low, women need to be around 70.
