Meal Replacement shakes for IBS (FODMAP?)?

can anyone receive meal replacement shakes which are good for IBS? I want to try low FODMAP, but I know I won't do it, if I have to check all the foods/meal plan/prep etc

cheers 😊

Do you mean prescribed by a doctor or buying yourself? I've not heard of them being prescribed for IBS . My adult DD ( who is also a doctor herself) has them prescribed but that is because she has ARFID and needs the calories.
There is fortisp, and fortisip+ with fibre, but most are dairy based which may not help. It's also not sustainable to rely just on meal replacement shakes!
I have IBS and severe diverticlar disease and also found the low FODMAP almost impossible to carry out... I gave up after about 3 months. My IBS was a bit better but not perfect.
I realised that actually bread was a trigger for me...lovely crusty bread, so switched to gluten free. I also cut out most dairy... no milk, plant based 'cheese' (Catherdral City make one which is actually ok!)
I took away one trigger food at a time rather than trying to remove everything, and while it's not perfect, I'm in a lot less pain....might be worth doing something like that?

nooo, not prescribed! some of the meal replacement shakes sound like they might be suitable/claim to be gluten free/gut friendly/easy to digest etc. like Puriton. and some claim to be low FODMAP like Huel v3.1, Huel Black...there is a brand called FODMAP Everyday.

I will probably just pick one at random to try, probably the cheapest!

only as a starting point, see if it works and then learn what I should/shouldn't eat
