What makes a good employer? Green flags

I'm starting a new job in a couple of weeks and I'm seeing lots of green flags.
They are doing things they say they will on time.
I need to travel for the job for the first few days and they've booked my hotel, meals and train all paid for already. I'm so impressed. Equipment will be sent to my house before I start.
In a world where my current manager / company has lots of red flags this is a refreshing change.
What does your company do that shows green flags?

Before I started my job, my now-boss let me write my job description and tell him what I thought my salary should be so he could tell HR.

My employer doesn't expect a minute more from me than they pay me for. You don't get frowned upon or disregarded for going home on time. They're also incredibly flexible about last minute wfh requests/child care issues. I had an accident last year which meant I couldn't drive for a week or so - my boss' boss directly messaged me to see if I needed anything at all whilst I was laid up. The pay isn't great, but progression and training is in abundance. Pretty great tbh. I love going to work.

  • Flexibility on being able to take holiday at short notice
  • Holiday not being authorised, just booked on the online system, as we are all trusted to make sure we get our work covered
  • Being able to work extra if I want to and either get paid or take the time in lieu at a time that suits me
  • Private healthcare
  • Ability to change hours during school holidays to take advantage of the longer days at clubs
  • A positive, nurturing environment, where I can grow, rather than being given negative / unhelpful feedback

From my employer:

Flexibility and understanding to cover personal issues within reason eg working from home around appointments with builders, children being sick etc.

We are allowed to bank extra hours in summer during the week and take Friday afternoons off.

We have resilience courses and an online training portal.

Subsidised canteen/cafe and subsidised parking place.

We get a generous voucher to spend on our products on birthdays, and £250 voucher when you have a child. We also get 50% off our products on top of sale and discount offers.

Four weeks extra sabbatical leave when you've worked 10 years in the company.

Day off for house moving, wedding etc.
