Do you ever text your hairdresser before an appointment to ask if they want anything from the shop

Just that. I have an appointment coming up and if I have time before the appointment I was thinking about going to a shop to get some supplies to last me a few hours like drinks or snacks or crackers. I was thinking would it be acceptable to text my hairdresser and see if they want anything from the shop?

😂😂 How long are you going to be sitting there having your hair done?? I've occasionally been for 4 hours (cut, colour, blow-dey), but have never needed snacks (and I'm a greedy fat git)

If I’m sat there from 10am - 4pm I’d definitely need something to eat 🙂 even 2/3 hours you can be peckish depending on time of day and your schedule.

I don't spend long in there but have had the same person for 35 years. I am imagining requests for bread, carrots, chicken, broccoli and loo rolls though so I agree that being more specific is good.

I would presume they won’t see a text.

Not a hairdresser - tattooist but I love when people do this! It’s helpful to me and I usually knock the price down a bit 😆

Depends on your relationship with her. But I've never been a few hours at a hairdressers, can't work out what takes so long, colour was under 2 hours
