Birthday pressie for a craft type person?

Hi, is my friends birthday soon and I’d like to get her something she’ll appreciate!

She loves making stuff, anything from earrings to upholstery. She tends to do it without instruction at home.

Does anyone have any ideas… that isn’t tuition. That I could get her?

thanks

I'd get her a craft set from eg Hobbycraft. They sell all sorts.

Depends on you budget really, but as a very special gift a cricut joy is the perfect gift for a craft person

Never heard of hobby craft, I’ll have a look online. Thanks!

No idea what a cricut is either 🙈… off to google! Thanks

If you know where she likes to buy her supplies from, a voucher. Sadly us crafty people tend to like the entire process of crafting, from selecting our tools and material to deciding how to use them right through to making the item. It’s all the dopamine hits spread out over a deliciously long time. A gift of an item is more ‘wham bam thank you mam’.

Otherwise talk to her and see if there’s anything she has been day dreaming of buying eg the conversation could start with “if you won £x what hobby related item would you go for”.
