How would you feel about work colleagues that go on a go slow yet others pull there weight and are given more work yet you see the others that purposely go slower but still get paid the same

I have people like this at my work, they do absolutely nothing all day whilst the rest of the team are non stop for 12 hours. We've started calling them out on it now, loudly asking why things haven't been done, making a point of how many breaks they've had or how long on break.
Going above them to their manager and complaining about stuff not being done seems to work regularly for me. It's still infuriating that other staff are having to be the ones to try and change things but all you can do is keep going on and on.

It’s horrible for the grafters …management should be on this more I’m starting to feel the slow ones are doing it right and still getting paid for it but my work ethic isn’t to do this it’s bloody frustrating I know I work harder than most but I get no thanks for it so who are the clever ones

I am not sure.i think there is a happy medium. The people knocking themselves out are not doing themselves or any of the other staff any favours.

Unfortunately some people are just lazy and others are conscientious.

I used to work in an admin role - there were 5 of us, 2 in one location and 3 of us in another location, however, we all did the same work for the same team.

The 2 in the other location were lazy and didn’t do much more than necessary. Me and one of my colleagues could see work getting left and would pick it all up. One of the 2 worked from home 3 days a week, and she would go ‘off grid’ for hours at a time.

It was really frustrating and the Manager knew and spoke to them both but it just ended up with them both going of sick for weeks at a time and then us 3 picked up all the work anyway.

I left a year ago but I know the situation is still the same, and will carry on like that too.

As a manager (of a professional team who have been working their socks off with one exception) I had a splendid meeting where everyone mapped out what they did on each day of the month. The exception was very gently shown up, seemed astonished, and now has more to do. I am not having that in my team.
