Why don’t I get that throbbing feeling anymore when I’m aroused?

I’m just 50 but for the past couple of years I’ve not had that tingling turned on sensation in my groin when I’m turned on. I have no problem getting turned on in my brain but it doesn’t seem to translate to that feeling down there. I’m still having orgasms but I really miss the feeling. Anyone else experienced this, is there anything I can do? I‘ve been on HRT for a couple of years.

Have you tried Ovestin as well as the HRT you’re on? It’s an oestrogen cream you use externally as well as internally and it really helps with vaginal atrophy which can cause the symptoms you’re describing.

I’ve literally just started Estradiol vaginal tablets for needing to wee lots during the night and vaginal dryness. I’ve only been using it for 10 days so I haven’t noticed any difference yet. Do you know if the tablets would be as effective as the cream?

You've fallen off the back of his motobike in the throes of passion?

Check out Vitamin B12 supplements? - among other things it helps with nerve sensitivity…

Personally I found the cream better as you can use it externally which really helps from a vulva point of view. It does take a good few weeks to really help - it’s not an overnight fix.
