Something Ive bought on ebay....... should I object or let it lie?

I found something on ebay, exactly what I was seeking and available for collection in a city near me. So I offered the sellers £200 (less than what this item usually sells for second hand). They accepted my offer. All good.
We arranged that we would meet and did so yesterday. All good. Im really pleased with it, all good.
Except for two things 1) it was depicted with an extra accessory in the photos, which now Ive got it home Ive noticed is not there 2) having accepted my £200 on ebay and in cash in person - they've now marked it sold at £148.53!

Im annoyed. Have I any right to be or should I let it lie? They seemed so nice when I met them yesterday but now I feel cheated. I know nothing about ebay - presumably they've done this to lower the fees from Ebay? How much will they have saved by dropping the amount we agreed on by as much as they have?

Contact them and say the accessory in the photo is missing?

As for the price, Roll your eyes and move on. You got the item for less than it usually sells for. Focus on that rather than what they may have done with it on eBay.

I’m not that familiar with eBay but can you change the price after you’ve bought an item? 🤔

Why would you be annoyed they’ve had to pay less fees though?

You're supposed to do everything via eBay. The only thing you can't do online is to go and view the item if you wish, so you do that in person.

Then submit an offer via eBay, they accept via eBay, eBay gives you a code and you tell the seller the code when you collect said item. You do that and take item. It can all be done on the same day standing with the seller if you wish. It's quick.

That way everything is recorded. You have proof you paid for whatever and collected whatever.

What you did is use eBay like an advertisement. So you presumably won't be covered by their usual arrangements.

Usually when you buy something it comes up on your eBay as a purchase and you can leave feedback. I don't think it will in your case as you didn't buy in the way they want. Check though in case I'm mistaken. Under Purchases.

Any problems you'd normally email the seller. They then fix things. Or not.

If they don't, then you have the option to leave negative feedback if you had a problem with the item that couldn't be resolved. This shows up. Sellers don't want that as it puts buyers off. So you have leverage.

But if you don't have anything in Purchases then you can't leave feedback so no leverage.

I'd contact her about the missing item. If she won't give you it, I'd be tempted to return the whole lot for a cash refund if she does that. Then send DH (or someone else she's not met) to buy it again at the lower price next week...
