Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. The window's open for some fresh air & I might venture into the garden with my cereal. No-one else is up yet & probably won't be for a while so it's lovely and quiet down here 😊

Today's likely to be a very quiet day here - I've not been well all week & crashed on Friday, then spent most of yesterday asleep 💤 Feeling much better today but don't want to push my luck.

I think I'll slowly potter round, tidying and doing some washing, then do some crafting - probably continue customising t-shirts for me and the girls to travel to Liverpool for the Eras Tour in. I need to look at my appraisal document for work too but I was absent when the targets were set & wasn't aware of them until about a week ago, & I've never had one before, so seems a bit unfair really. Like I've been set up to fail 🤷‍♀️

Dd2 will probably come and craft with me, although she did say her friend wanted to go for a walk, so I'll encourage that. & dd1 might go and play pool for a while.

No idea what's for tea - gammon was mentioned last night but is not defrosting 🤷‍♀️ something easy! Then another early one for me...hopefully get up less ill tomorrow & actually do something 🙄

I was up quite early, took my paper and cardboard down to the communal recycling (I live in a flat), and for some reason that always feels like quite a big, satisfying job!

Had some eggs for breakfast, and have just had a coffee and a few chocolate bourbons.

I haven't quite decided about dinner... It'll either be pizza or a full chicken roast! I'm leaning towards pizza, as it's gloriously sunny here today, whereas its due to rain tomorrow. And a roast always seems more apt on a rainy day!

No other plans!

Two of my kids had football matches this morning. Just waiting on the second game to finish. Myself and DH are then going to a hotel for the night. Nice dinner and a few drinks. Can't wait.

earlyish start as dd had netball training at 9am, so we were out at 8:30. I ran while she trained as there’s a nice woodland path right from the carpark. Then I flooded the utility room by deciding to check the filter for a missing earring while the washing machine was on- what an idiot!! 🤣🤣Chilling for a bit and then need to drop dd at a party. Fancy a mooch round TK Maxx while she’s doing that. might go and see a friend sing at a charity thing early evening and will get food there.

Morning all. I'm a cleaner for a few hmos and had a rude awakening from the landlord that a tenant had lost their door key and could I go sort it. Let the tenant in, went to my next job, now sitting in the car eating sushi 😁 I've got another job to do then go and collect the dc from ex dp. No rest for the wicked :(

Back from the gym and just sat down with another cup of coffee. It was MOT and service yesterday - which I always dread, but car passed. So I'm very happy with that lol 😆

Just gonna have a chilled afternoon. DS2 is at football match, (he's the assistant coach for an under 13s group) and ds1, OH and myself are chilling. Hope everyone has a lovely relaxed Sunday.

I had a dreadful nights sleep, so I didn't get up until nearly 10.
The plan was to get some seeds and seedlings in the veg beds but have done nothing but sit on the sofa and drink coffee. I even cancelled my PiYo class, which I love.

Hopefully, I will be a bit more productive after lunch. Online shop coming too, so there will be lots of options for tea.

Im at work. Long day ahead but feeling quite good. Have had some pain issues this week with my condition but so much better today.

Quite humid but dull here. Strange day.

DC are at clubs with DH then they plan to visit family.

DH and I are both working tomorrow so he will have tea ready for me when I finish and probably an early night for us all.

Got up ridiculously early to have a wild swim in our local spot that often has a lot of visitors. My friend and I decided this would be the best plan to get a bit of peace to ourselves.
It was lovely and sunny with the birds singing and not a soul else around.
Came home and had lovely quiet coffee in the garden with cats.
DD 1 has gone to work and DD 2 is still in bed!
DH full of an awful cold so he's just having a quiet day.
I want to do some gardening this afternoon and need to do a quick food shop.
My aim for tomorrow is not to have anything to do and please myself.
Something easy for dinner like a curry or chilli.

Oops ds1 is the assistant coach 🤦‍♀️ Clearly hungry and need lunch lol

Am currently in Italy. 10k hike this morning and just had an amazing lunch. Heading off for a riposo ( Italian siesta) before a limoncello tasting later.

The day did not start well. The shower was extremely hot. I am sensitive to too hot water so had to try to finish my hair wash in the sink and they try to wash myself over the sink. Then when waiting for first bus had cramps. Already missed one bus so stupidly did not cross the road to use hospital loo. Got off first bus, went in shop to get some milk for work, tried to pay with bus pass(!) and in the meantime unfortunately had an accident. Had to clean up in the public loo, luckily because of incontinence (just wee) I had a change of pants after a mahoosive clean up. Very embarrasing as I was on my way to work. I have told my colleague that from now on I will wear only black leggings for work and will keep an identical pair at work.

Now at work and everything ok now.

Yesterday my friend and I joined a group walking and talking through a cemetery. All about the people buried there. I was rather knackered at the end of it (unfit!!) so I sat in the lovely sunshine for quite a while!

It’s finally warm enough and dry enough to sit in the garden so I’ve been doing that. I’ve put some wood stain on one of the comfy garden chairs. I put some cougettes in earlier on. Hopefully they won’t get eaten by slugs tonight!

Today would have been my late DH birthday. I went to work from 6.30 till 11. I bought a bunch of tulips. Was too late for church but went in at the end and had a cup of tea. Had lunch and a doze. Then went and put the flowers on the grave. Our village is very excited as Ipswich got promoted yesterday. Chelsea won 5 0 today so that's good news too!!

Thinking of you Elderflower14. Quite a busy day. Work was crazy busy! I went to Asda afterwards which wasn’t as busy as I’d expected. Bought way more than I’d intended & had to get yet another bag for life (realised too late that I hadn’t had it scanned!) I have about 50 of the bloody things in my kitchen! Now chilling with a cuppa & just tried a dark chocolate Tunnocks caramel bar which was nice. Still prefer the milk ones. DH is tinkering in the garage & DD15 has gone out for a walk. Scampi, chips & peas for tea later & we’ll probably watch some of Greys Anatomy. I really should do some dusting. Considering hiring a cleaner for a one off but will have to wait until payday. Plus there’s a fair bit of decluttering still to do before proper cleaning.
