House warming gift - any ideas?

I'd like to buy a house warming gift for a young man in his 20s, but only want to spend £10-20. I know he has some kitchen essentials, but I guess not all. Doesn't really drink, so no point in a bottle to christen new home.

A board game? A voucher for Dunelm or similar so he can get what he needs. OH! When DS and DiL moved into their first flat someone gave them a box containing washing up liquid, bleach, a scourer, a duster, feather duster, cream cleaner, toilet roll. You get the picture.

A decent wok? Set of pans? Starter crockery set?

A laundry basket and you could stick some cleaning supplies into it as well

Coasters, house plant, glasses. Maybe just take a trip to TkMaxx and see what takes your fancy.

Scented candle, tea towels. Useful, practical bits.

Hi

What do they have and what are their tastes is what you need to consider.

Housing warming gifts can be a bit like xmas presents, put in the draw or given to a charity shop. Therefore, IMO, get them a B&Q voucher/etc - this can be used towards blinds/curtains/cushions,/pictures/mirros DIY tools/paints/flowing etc etc and they can easily use your gift to top up their budget

Honestly, I'd go for a voucher.

Does he have any basic tools - screw driver, hammer, torch etc? Always useful or a voucher for B&Q, Wickes to get what he needs.
