DD thrown up everywhere

It was all over the bed, up the wall and has pooled on the carpet behind and under the bed.

I've stripped the bedding, put the duvet, mattress topper and pillow case protector in the wash, put the soiled bedding and clothing in the bath to deal with tomorrow, sprayed the mattress with disinfectant and washed down the bed frame.

It's all up the wall still and caked into the carpet.

I can't reach it properly because the bed is in the way and her room is too small to pull it out properly and the bed too heavy to move on my own. Plus it's too late to deal with it all right now.

I've shut the bedroom door and will have to face it all in the morning.

Oh the horror. I'm thinking I might need to call out a professional carpet cleaning company.

Lying awake now unable to sleep.

Thinking the wall might need repainting as well.

It will be fine. As long as she's clean, dry and comfortable for now, the rest can be sorted out tomorrow. Sick comes out of carpets surprisingly well, and walls wash.
I say this as someone whose baby pebbledashed his cot, bedding, mattress, wall, carpet, wardrobe, teddy and all points between. It was 23 years ago but I bloody haven't forgotten the feeling of "WTF do I do with all this at this time of night?"
Try to get some sleep x

Thank you. Appreciate that.

Same here, DD thrown up all over the bed, I’ve put the stuff in the garden until I can deal with it tomorrow as it stinks so much 😟 now just cuddling DD whilst she watches something, hopefully back to sleep soon. Must be a bug going round again!

In the garden 😂

Solidarity ladies.

I took mine to the temple today for her 1st birthday and she threw up all over a lady in her brand new outfit 😳🥴

Chuck some bicarbonate soda over the carpet, let it soak up and hoover it up. It'll be ok x

Didn't think of putting it in the garden. It absolutely reeks doesn't it. I've just shut the bedroom and bathroom doors for now.

She'll have to help me pull the bed out tomorrow as no one else here to help.

Thanks. I was thinking I'd need some bicarbonate and white vinegar tomorrow.

Haha yes couldn’t deal with it at this time of night 🤣 don’t know why I thought of the garden!

Much easier to clean when dry too, I had 4 all with spewing and funnily enough outside the bedroom doors but in exactly the same place, I put a towel down after the second, cleaned up the worst using a dustpan and sprayed with antibac, was crappy rented house cord capet too but once it was left overnight and dried I hoovered it, sprayed and scrubbed again, dried and hoovered again and all was fine. 15 years later it's still known as the sickness spot 🤣😕

It does! Funny how we’ve both had the same idea of shutting it away to deal with tomorrow 😄

I was thinking it would be harder to clean once dried in so that's good to know.

Still feel like it might need a professional clean though.

When my DD was little she vomited all over me as I was going up the ladder of her bunk to see what was wrong.

I was wearing just my knickers. I caught some of it in my hands 🤢 the rest went all over me 🤢🤢🤢

Delightful.
