Hi everyone first time posting and looking for advice

I have 2 amazing little ones boy and girl but it's my little boy I'm looking for advice around.

I'm suspecting my little man may be on the aurtistc spectrum but I'm wanting to see if anyone else has had similar behaviours to myself with there little one, or is it normal toddler behaviour.

He is a very loving little boy who will cuddle with you and give kisses.
He understands what you are saying to him when he is spoken too but he does not talk other than the work ( that, cat ) he is 23 months old. He walks on his tiptoes most of the time as well as flaps his hands more so when he is excited. He didn't start walking until he was around 14 month old and never crawled ( bum suffled ). He is not the most sociable around others and tends to just play with himself or his sister but other children.
He doesn't seem to have a sensory issue with food but doesn't like some foods touching other food so will separate in to little piles.
He also doesn't like some sounds so if I hoover there if fear with him some toys that make a similar noise fear again this has been from more or less birth

The advice I'm asking for is if any of you has had similar experience and should I start to look forward with the GP regarding these concerns?

Other that all this He is a very happy little boy 90% of the time who is so loving towards his close family

I would keep an eye on it and maybe have a word with your health visitor. Things sound kind of 50/50. Some toddlerish,my youngest is the same age and still walks about on tiptoes, didn’t start walking til around 17/18months and you usually find after a first child the other one can be slower with talking. My 2nd was 2 1/2 before he started talking and the youngest doesn’t say much although more than what the middle one did and i noticed that with friends kids too. The flapping hands and slight sensory issues could be though. My cousins child has autism and was a very cuddly little boy when he was younger. Only with adults and his oldest sister. Any of his other siblings tried to go near him he would freak out. He would separate his foods on his plate, so his peas at one bit carrots at another etc line toys up and he knew if any of them had been switched round. Like i say talk to your health visitor and keep an eye on him
