i’m obsessed with a perfume called ghost of Tom that came in the liberty advent calendar. What product have you ever had a sample of that has made you a devoted user?

Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner. My hair dresser uses it in salon and gave me a sample bottle of each. Now nothing else will do. Except it's £30 a bottle 🫣

I was given half a dozen or so samples of Sisley Velvet Nourishing Cream with Saffron flowers.

Its great for my skin and feels so good. Last week thought I'd order a full size jar - aware it would cost more than my usual day cream. So not completely naive as to cost.

Walked through Selfridges in the 90s as a cash strapped nurse. Got sample sprayed by a girl promoting Samsara perfume. Didn't realise until I got home how much I LOVED it. Of course I hadn't remembered the name so had to go back to Selfridges within the week to find out what it was as i was addicted by then. I bought every possible version of it for years afterwards despite never really being able to afford it.
