Yes it's the mini crossword I play.

I find letterbox frustrating as well, there's word I want to use but I can't because the letters are on the same line! And today it's annoying just because there's a Q on there!!

Wordle, Connections and Strands.

Puzzgrid is one I enjoy. Based on the "Connecting Walls" of Only Connect.

I play Wordle, but currently having a sulk as I failed yesterday (too many options left) so lost my streak

If you have something with lots of options, eg
_AE_R

where you can have
WATER, BAKER, SAVER (there may be more), then you need to try and make words with the letters in the 'unfound' space, eg
WT, BK,SV
so you could try WinKS or SWeaT.

That approach gives you a better chance of narrowing down the correct letter.

There is a thread on here just for Wordle fans which will give tips like this.

Gubbins is one I found a few weeks ago. It’s not massively challenging, but I enjoy doing it.

I used to do Xordle but got too cross with the lack of quality control.

@RollnRock , I'm usually really good at finding ways to use up my letters, annoyingly on this occasion I failed to spot a letter that left me with two potential words for my 6th attempt - gutted!!

I also lost my streak yesterday!!
