Any Cub Leaders around? Which are the best/easiest Cub badges to work on from home?

Youngest DS is starting to become disillusioned with Cubs for various reasons. He is very rewards orientated, so I was hoping to spark his interest by working for something new from home.
Do you have any suggestions?

I was going to say Home Help... but its not the most fun!

Physical Recreation (if in a sport club)
Musician if they do instrument lessons
Sports Enthusiast if they follow a team
Swimming if they have Swimming lessons
Theres a few specific ones if they have certain hobbies... Martial Arts, Equestrian, skating, Snowsports, paddlesports, sailing

Book reader, Artist, animal carer, collector, gardener, hobbies, photographer are all doable at home, but double check you aren't going to do something the keader is going to do in a few weeks!

There are elements of the Home Help badge he might enjoy - cooking a meal, but the cleaning, not so much.
Photography looks like a good one to try at home, so I'll suggest that one to him, thank you.

Would be pretty easy to do something like naturalist - but it takes at least three months as you have to visit the same place in different seasons, so it's one to do over time. https://www.scouts.org.uk/cubs/activity-badges/naturalist/.

Home safety looks like a quick win kind of option https://www.scouts.org.uk/cubs/activity-badges/home-safety/.

Astronomer would be a good project one to get into https://www.scouts.org.uk/cubs/activity-badges/astronomer/.

Cubs Naturalist Activity Badge | Scouts

Learn how to identify different trees, birds and flowers. Sit back and watch the seasons change. This badge is all about engaging with the natural world, and showing others why it's so special.

Can you talk to the Leader as they may have a suggestion.

I know it was different, but in Lockdown, we gave the Cubs a challenge to collectively climb the highest Mountain in Ireland (Carrauntohill) as we couldn't do our normal hikes (not as high!), just by climbing the stairs at home. They collectively climbed both Ben Nevis and Snowdownia! (Each higher than Carrauntohill).

And we have given some Cubs specific challenges before when they wanted more than the group as a whole was doing.

Alternatively. We're not really set up to do the Chief Scout award but your group might be for one or a small handful who want an extra challenge.

Other things we did from home were building bird feeders from recycling materials and then recording (ticking a list, writing down individual visits, doing a drawing or taking a photo) of the birds that visited.

Do a pioneering project using lollipop sticks or bamboo skewers or bigger bamboo canes/peasticks. Make a knot board of different kinds of knots, label them and explain what you'd use different ones for.

Take a local map and plan a hiking route that wasn't too steep or dangerous but had some interesting things to see.

Do a poster about the history of scouting, or the local group (did any teachers in school go to your group, what do they remember? Were there any extended family members, do they have pictures of their camps? What was "Bob-a-Job" all about?) and tell the rest of the Cubs.

Things that build on things we were doing in the programme but could be extended for those interested, but didn't leave out those not interested or not in a position to do more at home.

I’m a Cub leader!

agree with having a chat with your leaders to see what they have planned for their section meetings.
Ours recently did part of the Digital Maker at home, the other ones that are easy at home is Chef, Explore, Photographer, Artist, Cycling, Astronomer,

But do talk to the leaders and get them on board with the ones you do at home so they had make sure they have the badges in stock to award. I feel awful when a Cub brings in all the stuff for a badge they have done at home, but I don’t have the badge in stock as the parents didn’t give me a heads up.

Great suggestions, thanks everyone. His group does do quite a lot of badges, so it's handy to identify the ones they are less likely to do in the group.
