Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just finishing off my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. The towels are in the washer already & I've hung the load I had on a timer. I've listed a few things on Vinted too. I'm hoping for a few more sales before we go to our Eras Tour concert - my plan is to use money made there for merch 🤞

Today's plan of action is to clean up the garden furniture. We did the rest of the garden yesterday & organised a pile that I'll ask my dad to nip to the tip. He might pop round for a brew today so we'll see what he says.

Once that's done, I'll iron the t-shirts I bought to customise for Eras, and then trace the writing onto them ready to fill in & stick gems. I want to make a couple more bracelets too but might not have time today.

We're having roast chicken for tea, not sure what with yet other than the roast potatoes that need buying! I'll see what everyone fancies when they get up.

Then showers, a couple of episodes of Lucifer, and early nights ready for the week ahead.

What about all of you? 🙂

I’m going to try to finish a romper that I’m crocheting for DGS.

I’ve got an event tomorrow at DS1’s regiment where Queen Camilla is going to be in attendance, so I have to find something to wear. Instead of it being a nice Spring day, it’s going to be 9 degrees, windy and showers, so I’ll be going through my wardrobe trying to find something smart that I can wear hundreds of layers underneath.

DH is out in the garden doing something and is going to sand the skirting boards in our bedroom
We’ve got cod and chorizo fishcakes for tea then an early night for tomorrow.

Morning all. Just dropped DD 17 at work for a couple of hours.
Dishwasher churning away.
DH is on route back from friends but will be a few hours.
Need to pop and visit DF and get a few bits for tea from the local shop.
Going a walk later to check out our bluebell wood and see if they are out.
Tea will be sausage made into little balls in a pasta bake, at DD 14 request.
Also need to make some brownies if I can squeeze that in.

Morning Lucysmam and All!

Had a nice pottering morning so far, 2 cups of tea down, one load of laundry hung up outside (although v cloudy here - not much chance of sunshine today I think) and school shirts now in the wash.

I am half watching the marathon on the box while mumsnetting and DD is next to me on the sofa on her Switch. Will call elderly Mum in a bit and we’ll have a long chat. After that lunch and online weekly delivery is due.

Will try and either go out for a walk or go swimming with DD later this afternoon - hopefully a walk as I’m not sure I’ve got the energy and the faff of all that goes with swimming today. I love the way I feel after swimming but I hate the prep of getting into the pool!!

A relaxing evening watching something on Netflix and also roast chicken for tea. Hope all have a good day.

Morning @lucysmam

Still lazing in bed after a not great nights sleep. DD is in her room, DH is downstairs cooking bacon and eggs.

Will be off to visit the ponies this afternoon, via the farm shop to splurge on their cheese counter. Think it will be a hot melty baron bigod for tea with various things to dip in it!

No ironing for me today as I did plenty of uniform last week so hoping for an early night. Need to find something new to watch on Netflix after finishing Informer last week.

Good morning @lucysmam and others. I have been to Aldi for food, most of which is for my grandsons who I look after on Monday and Tuesday. I have a gammon roasting in the oven and I've tidied up the kitchen. Shortly I'll polish and hoover but that's all I need to do. Later I'll visit mum. Gammon and roast potatoes for dinner with cauliflower cheese and cabbage. Then Eve's pudding and ice cream. Have a good day all.

Morning.

Had a busy day yesterday so we're mainly home today.

So far I've sorted out the food shop, but they didn't deliver the meat for dinner (or bananas) so I have to go out anyway.

Had the bright idea of sorting through the kids toys, so two bedrooms and the living room are currently a huge mess and the kids have all got bored and wondered off. We've already managed to get a massive bag to hand down to younger cousins and another massive bag of broken / unusable stuff but there is still so much.

Alongside this I'm also trying to get some washing done, get the ironing pile ready for later and clean the cat litter trays.

We've been watching the London Marathon too.

Later I'll send older kids to the park for an hour and take little one out for a scoot to the shops to get a chicken to roast for dinner.

Have a full on week so happy to have a low key one today.

Morning everyone,

Back from the gym, had a shower, put a wash on and now sat with a 3rd cup of coffee whilst I wait for the dryer to finish lol

Need to tidy up and cooking spaghetti bolognaise for tea with lamb mince 🙂 Get school uniforms sorted for tomorrow and homework needs completing for ds2. Tonight, looking forward to another episode of The Walking Dead 😁👍 Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

Morning @lucysmam and fellow posters. Jealous of the bathtimes every one us having - our bath gas been out if commission for a year, so it's always showers at the minute!

Off to see Godzilla x Kong with our DDs in an hour. This will be their second 12A film so I hope they will be OK.

DH is having deep convos with the dog before his walk 😆. DDs are in playroom.

Pizza for dinner and episode 2 of the gentlemen for me and DH.

Have a fab Sunday all!

I took ds2 to see it over Easter. He's 11 and loved it. There was younger kids in there too 👍

Morning everyone.

Im at work on a tea break. Long shift today. Yesterday we had a busy day out with the kids and had lunch out for the first time in ages. Was fun.

DH is on rugby run today and doing shopping and organising tea. Once I’m finished will be a quick shower and tea, organising uniforms then bed!

lucysmam · 21/04/2024 11:35

Well, I was so productive at 9am & then ground to a halt 🙄 I have made a start on the charms for a couple of Eras bracelets though, listened to The Tortured Poets Department again, and arranged my social calendar for the week (hugely important stuff, obvs 🙈) but that's it.

Really must shift my arse now!

We’re driving back from a lovely weekend in Sussex. My siblings and I hired a big old farm house and we, our families, our parents and some friends have been down there since Friday night celebrating our mum’s 70th birthday. 🎈

We had a nice dinner in on Friday night and then a lazy ish day yesterday with a nice big breakfast, dips in the pool, hot tub, some games and some football before dinner at a local pub last night. We came back and had a kitchen disco so there were a few delicate heads this morning!

When we get home DP is going to take the dog for a walk and I’ll go to buy food. We don’t often have all four kids on a Sunday afternoon so doing a nice family roast to celebrate.

Will drop the kids to their other parents early evening and come back and collapse into bed I think!
