I've never heard of this person so apologies, but is it her second kid? I recently had my second and was breastfeeding and my bump was gone in days. I'm nowhere as slim as her, but my saggy mum belly is quite easily disguised by compression/maternity leggings. My maternity jeans were too big by 1 week PP.

Wasn't the same with my first kid. I wore maternity jeans for a lot longer with her.

By Day 4 my stomach had completely deflated and was flatter than pre pregnancy (HG) and I didn’t breastfeed and had a c section - went straight back into size 10 jeans.

No stretchmarks either - down to pure luck as I certainly didn’t do anything special! I was bleeding heavily though so no chance I’d have worn tight leggings

Same. I find it frustrating that others on this thread are suggesting that it’s to do with breastfeeding or natural birth. Also, I had a number of issues during my pregnancy so couldn’t exercise, so it’s not even that.

It’s pure luck and probably genetics.

I don't know who she is but I'd imagine some control pants are involved don't compare yourself to randoms with agendas posting on the Internet.

  1. How can breastfeeding make a difference in 5 days? The milk doesn't even come through until at least day 3!
  2. She looks great and must have trained throughout her pregnancy.
Jk987 · 21/04/2024 10:52

I forgot no3. A dickhead husband who has fathered 2 other children by someone else during their marriage.

Beezknees · 21/04/2024 10:53

Money is the answer. I don't know why people are still shocked that wealthy women snap back quicker than ones with less money and resources. It's not hard to figure it out.

Goldiex · 21/04/2024 10:57

I was small when pregnant and as soon as he was born i was flat again.. HOWEVER i basicay had a nappy and inco pad attached to me for 8 weeks because of the bleeding. Wouldve looked pregnant down below if i wore leggings 😂

PickledMumion · 21/04/2024 11:04

My stomach was completely down within 12 hours of having my second - I was as surprised as the midwife was! I'm very average weight (size 12) and definitely below average fitness, I didn't do any sort of pregnancy pilates or anything like that. Just random luck I guess 🤷‍♀️

(I then went on to put ON half a stone in the first two weeks postpartum! I'm also putting that down to random luck, and not to scoffing chocolate hobnobs 24/7 whilst breastfeeding)

TheFairyCaravan · 21/04/2024 11:07

I only put on 11lbs when I was pregnant with DS2. He was 8lb, add in the placenta and water, i was lighter once he was born than before I got pregnant.

I had him Christmas Eve and was back in my size 8 jeans on the 27th.

florenceandthemac · 21/04/2024 11:24

I don't think she's out running. Adidas sambas are not running shoes....

Mrsjayy · 21/04/2024 11:26

She's probably out promoting the trainers😀

florenceandthemac · 21/04/2024 14:02

I had mine in today so did a little jog from the car to the shop... ouch

I had milk going everywhere from about eight months pregnant. I accidentally got my then husband in the face with it a few times. So it's possible.

(I then went on to end up in hospital with malnutrition at the end of breastfeeding. Delightful!)

But I still can't understand how she's jogging, even if it's only for short periods. I had a relatively easy birth and I was walking like a trapped penguin for a few weeks. I'm wincing just thinking about trying to move quickly.

QuestionAir · 21/04/2024 14:10

Another one who thinks it’s totally down to luck or genetics. With both children my bump was literally just baby and fluids - so once I’d given birth I was pretty much back to normal within hours. The midwife actually remarked that had she not been there she wouldn’t have believed I’d just given birth ….. (both babies were small by the way. Maybe that’s a factor too ?)

Breastfeeding causes uterine contractions when your milk lets down. You can feel it. Assume it still happens without breastfeeding but I'd think slower?

elevens24 · 21/04/2024 16:09

Luck, genetics and looking after herself during pregnancy. Great diet and regular exercise.

crumblingschools · 21/04/2024 16:22

I would rather a faithful partner than a flat stomach days after giving birth

LadyDaisy42 · 21/04/2024 16:28

My baby disappeared pretty quickly (and I wasn't breastfeeding). I just ate too much crap afterwards and piled on the weight. I looked better a few days post partum than I do a few years down the line lol.

LadyDaisy42 · 21/04/2024 16:28

*baby BUMP that should say! (Lack of edit is somewhat annoying)

devooed · 21/04/2024 20:11

Totally forgot about this thread. I was feeding baby when I made it and was half asleep !!
Yes maybe it is genes. And she did stay fit anyways. Hard to believe that's her fourth baby, she really does look great !!

Her husband is an absolute tool, needless to say. I hope she divorces him and finds someone who will appreciate her.

My stomach returned to its usual shape the day after giving birth with both my pregnancies. I didn't do anything specific, it just happened. I was slim (in those days Grin) and walked miles all through my pregnancies which may have helped?

I'm menopausal now and I seem to have developed a rounded stomach out of nowhere. Waist has thickened too.

Same here.
I wore my size 10 jeans home from the hospital.
Today I am wearing big leggings with my tummy hanging over 😬 my baby is 11.

Viewfrommyhouse · 21/04/2024 20:18

I was back to normal within 10 days, breastfeeding seemed to really help!

HesterPrincess · 21/04/2024 20:26

Rumour is that she had the baby around Easter. They announced the birth 4 days before, not the date that the baby was born.

Kyle has been off with "injuries", presumably to keep Lauryn or whatever her name is from running to the media once she got wind.

I feel horribly sorry for the poor girl. Your husband having 2 children with another woman is beyond an accident.... she must be reeling, facing being a single Mum to 4 children and knowing that she can't trust Dad as far as she can throw him.
