Here you go ... a small nest of insanity and ridiculousness that even Coppertop can join in with

Over to you, ct ...

Hi there - am feeling extremely tipsy so thought I may have the courage to join you tonight. Do not understand a word that you say but at the moment but I don't think it matters a great deal at this moment in time and openly support the OJ philosophy (given me endless hours of merriment up to now) ..... Hi there Sweetsong and Wobblyknicks. xx

miam · 08/01/2005 19:25

Oh and bunglie and kangamummy obviously - have not had the pleasure of meeting you officially. You are all a little scary I have to say.

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:28

We're lovely and sweet and fluffy, miam! Come on in, shove Coppertop's bum out of the way and make yourself comfortable!

RadioTimeskangamummy · 08/01/2005 19:30

hi SS and welcome miam

we are a warm and cuddly species as far as insaniacs go in general

RadioTimeskangamummy · 08/01/2005 19:31

I don't know why bunglie can't clean her own corner actually

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:32

It's all good. No bitching (well, not unless WK has left the top off the meths again), no nastiness (not unless you count Bunglie's bedding), lots of fluffy bunny happy thoughts

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:32

She's never around when it's time for cleaning, have you noticed?

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:33

Kangamummy?

Why do you appear to be wearing a television listing magazine? Is clothing in such short supply round your neck of the woods?

miam · 08/01/2005 19:34

Move over there coppertop!! (mind you - my bum is not as big as it used to be [gloating emoticon]. My hubby is just a baby by the way.... 41 this year awwwww. Does that make ME the baby of the group (I'm hopeful anyway...)

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:36

You very craftily only gave us your dh's age there, miam

You have a long way to go to be younger than wobblyknicks, she's only just out of nappies

miam · 08/01/2005 19:37

Har de har.... may be mad (but not as mad as you lot....) but not mad enough to give my age away. I dare you to guess!

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:40

Younger than me but older than wobblyknicks (that gives a good range ... and you can't shout at me for thinking you're older than you really are!)

RadioTimeskangamummy · 08/01/2005 19:41

SS I was a bit chilly robbie had to pop out for a minute and took his/my leathers with him

so I grabbed the nearest thing

But it does have our photo on the front

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:43

(I keep looking around to see who you're talking to whan you call me SS! Guess I'll get used to it ...)

miam · 08/01/2005 19:44

Quite happy with that Sweetsong. Considering Tears for Fears are on the radio and I instantly thought 'hey whoopee' instead of 'coooool' then I guess you may be right.

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:45

Oh, I used to like Tears for Fears ... we're both kind of giving our ages away now!

RadioTimeskangamummy · 08/01/2005 19:45

The real reason is because secur and hunkermunker and several others suggested it because of my TV guide service that I have started to provide

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:46

Your TV Guide service ... (dare I ask?)

miam · 08/01/2005 19:46

By the way, I am looking for a 70s outfit for a night out. Can anyone out there advise me what I should be looking for? I mean ofcourse go and ask your parents what they wore when they were young......

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:47

You take Eddie Izzard around to see the sights, maybe?

RadioTimeskangamummy · 08/01/2005 19:47

I would go to any shop and you will find it there

RadioTimeskangamummy · 08/01/2005 19:48

paisley print, ponchos, beads, wide leg trousers, belted cardigans

miam · 08/01/2005 19:48

Blinkin' 'eck - do I need to tie die something then????? Could tie die my hubby - he'd look much better.....

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:49

You don't want to know what I was wearing in the 70s!

You could try
Glam rock
Abba
Hippie stuff
Aladdin Sane
Flares
Black and white dress a la modettes
Punk

Sweetsong · 08/01/2005 19:50

Oh no - not die tie? With a macrame belt and a Donny Osmond hat.

How about Bay City Rollers tartan?
