Fragrance free people, please recommend a moisturiser

I'm on the lookout for a new moisturiser. It needs to be genuinely fragrance-free, not a "light scent" or anything like that.

The thing is I have normal skin, and I feel like a lot of the products like E45 are really for dry skin, so they feel a bit heavy for me.

I suppose I could spend up to £20.

Facetheory do an unscented option for many of their products.

I really like Clinique's dramatically different moisturising lotion.

Also, if you find a lot of moisturisers too heavy I'd recommend trying an oil-free gel.

I used Clinique dramatically different moisturising gel before switching to CeraVe (switched because I needed an SPF) - it was lovely and lightweight, but expensive.

But an oil-free gel could be the way to go if you tend to find moisturisers too heavy. There will be cheaper brands than Clinique doing similar things.

Go check out the SkinSafe app. You can specify that you want fragrance free products, then search for moisturizers and then narrow by formulation like oil-free or balm.

Cerave is a good starting point. They are pretty consistent with their ingredients and produce truly fragrance free products. You do have to watch their use of some other ingredients as some of the ones they use do overlap with the ones that people who are avoiding fragrance often also need to avoid.

I'd never even considered that before. Thank you very much, that's certainly something to think about.

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. Bit more than 20 quid but Amazon sometimes has quite good deals. I’ve never found anything without any fragrance, but this is the closest I’ve got.

Thank you so much everyone. I'll have a look through all of these.

I can recommend Nivea Soft. I found Cerave too heavy. I#m keen to try an oil-free gel @ringoffiire
