Just started HRT, how long before I feel better?

I'm assuming it's going to help and I won't be one of the people who spend months trying to get the dose right. The power of positive thought, right?

So if all goes well, how long before I notice a difference?

I'm hoping it will help with brain fog, lack of focus and general loss of omph.

Went from 50mcg to 100mcg patch over 4 months - felt better.

Switched from Utrogestan to Mirena in month 6 and felt BETTER

Added testosterone at month 8 and WOW.

Hot flushes at night have returned to a degree and waiting for consultant to decide if I can have more oestrogen (private doctor).

Oh I still have shit cognitive abilities though. Can't remember names and nouns and it's desperate.

I used HRT for 4 years. The only thing that improved was the hot flushes. I discovered after having to come off them that I was deficient in magnesium and B12 ( side effect of other drugs I’m on) and most of the symptoms were due to deficiency.
I started taking supplements after coming off HRT and I’m so much better.
Not everyone goes through a difficult menopause. Because I was early 50s I assumed all my aches and pains were meno. Turns out I was just lacking magnesium and vit B12.
I’m now post meno, have the odd hot flush and sleep like a log.
I have a bit of brain fog but that is due to hormone blockers I take after breast cancer treatment.
Most of my current aches and pains are due to post radiation treatment.

I suppose I’m in a super post menopause due to hormone blockers. I have the hormone levels of the average eight year old and quite frankly feel great.

Libido hasn’t been great but not sure whether it is a psychological effect of breast cancer. It is improving though.

I think it really depends on what your libido pre menopause.
