As the title says really. I had my eye lashes lifted and tinted yesterday. They look absolutely fried and spider like.. really not happy with the finished look. The lady said she will do them again but I'm reluctant in case she do s more damage. Any advice?

I’m in the same position OP! Did you end up getting them fixed?

You need to oil them and treat them gently, a lash lift is the same process as a perm for hair and its over processed.
I personally wouldn't put any more chemicals on them until they were in better condtion.
I am a beauty therapist.
So lots of oil no rubbing it wont take long to look better new beauty therapist she left the chemicals in too long.

This has recently happened to me too - mine are horribly over processed and look dreadful. Is there an oil you would recommend? Thank you!

I must have been lucky! Came on to post that this isn't normal (in my very limited experience), but see I'm in the minority.

I had mine lifted and tinted for the first time about a month ago at a local college. Lovely student got some practice, and I paid less than market rate (only way I can afford it). All very professional and they did a great job. I was very nervous in case it went wrong, but nothing did. Definitely planning to go back.

I’ve had mine done for years now and it’s the first time they’ve been over processed and overly curly despite consistently going to the same beautician - maybe I’ve just been lucky for all that time? Who knows!

Caster oil is reccommended. There is a brand that loads of beauty therapists use that has very short timings and is causing a lot of over processing issues.
At a college a lot use salon systems which has long timings but is obviously less likey to cause problems.

No I haven't got them fixed. Infact having a rough time getting hold of the lady who did them and when I do she's very dismissive. I also had a brow lamination and it looks awful
