Just for fun! If you had severe food aversions in pregnancy, what gender was your baby?

Apparently research says there is a link between food aversions and having a boy. I’m not bothered which we have, a girl or boy is a blessing, but wondered if there is a link?

The thought of every food is making me want to vomit! Even plain biscuits/carbs are making me feel sick. I’m a bit better when the food is put in front of me but the whole choosing and cooking process makes me want to be 🤢

The only tolerable thing I’ve found is Coca Cola!

2 girls. Couldn't eat meat or drink my beloved tea.

I couldn't stand lamb or the smell of rivers for both pregnancies. Both boys.

Couldn't bear coffee as soon as I got pregnant, switched to tea which I never drank before at all. Also the smell of cat food made me heave, couldn't feed the cat at all, bless her, dh had to do it.
I had a boy.

1 girl. I used to vomit at the colour of Heinz beans labels - it wasn’t even the beans themselves just the label 😂 god I couldn’t even walk in a supermarket because I would gag uncontrollably at the thought of it.

That was the only aversion I had, and as soon as she was born I googled beans and it was fine. Fuck knows what happened there

A girl! My other four pregnancy's were fine but my girl nearly killed me.

Girl: I went off yogurt and egg for the whole pregnancy
boy 1: I couldn’t eat chocolate or anything sweet
boy 2: no chocolate, nothing sweet, also extended to no fizzy drinks -gah!

Completely went off cups of tea which I love. They made me feel sick. Had a girl

Couldn't cope with peanut butter or coffee - girl

Hated smell of petrol to the point where I was sick in the petrol station forecourt - boy
