Irish ferries - Dublin to Holyhead - is club class worth it?

Trying to establish if it is worth the extra for club class:
Is it definitely quieter and much more comfortable than the general areas? If so, will probably book just for that.
It says complimentary soft drinks and snacks. How substantial are the snacks? The only picture I can see shows some pieces of fruit. That won't make the difference between booking or not, but I need to know how much food I need to pack as we have journeys either side.
Thank you

I've done the journey in 'normal' class and thought the availability of seating/quiet areas was brilliant.

There was a specific quiet area that you could pay on the day to use (presumably free for club class), and the seats did look great but wouldn't have tempted us (we travelled in a group).

I travel across at least twice a year with 2 kids (4 and 8) on my own. For me it’s absolutely worth paying for club class. Free snacks for kids (pastries, biscuits, granola pots, cheeses, wraps (I think it’s a chicken one and beetroot one), I like them, kids not to much.
I don’t always get there early enough to enjoy the 1st on, but sometimes I do 😅. At the back of the ship in the general area they redeveloped the soft play area and it’s pretty good but for me I have audio sensitivity, it’s a bit much how loud it is for an extended period. Also being on my own, I don’t want to sit in the areas with the families, if I need to go to the toilet with one, both have to come with me and I need to bring everything.
in club class I try and grab seats by the front windows as the kids can then sprawl out on the floor where the window slopes (plenty of room). I’ve always found that if the older one doesn’t want to come to the toilet with the younger one, families around me always say well keep an eye on him. I just find it a much nicer experience, especially when the main ship is busy. It does really bump up the price, especially for 3 of us paying full price for access but it’s worth it personally.

We used Club class travelling Dover-Calais last summer & it was great. We went in the morning & food was breakfast- pastries, cereals, yogurts, biscuits, fruit, crackers, cheese, cold meats etc. All kinds of drinks including fizzy & wine. I think there were crisps too. Many people also took food away with them. Was £12 each & we certainly got our money's worth.

It was also valuable to have toilets close by & guaranteed seats. Children got activity packs too.

By contrast, on the way back, there was no Club class option & it was awful! A small ship, no seating available & mediocre food purchased which cost as much as Club Class would have for sandwiches & drinks!

Also it gave priority boarding, but you still had to queue & being first on meant being last off...

Thank you, we've gone for it for space and comfort, snacks and drinks being a bonus
