Not sure what is going on. I only started getting migraines when i went through the menopause. I got them every few 6 months or a year . Recently I got them every three months. I recently got one two weeks ago on the Friday and then it went away and then I got another one on the Sunday which was very alarming to have one so soon.. A few days later roll on today, I got a migraine this morning. I dont get bad headaches and the migraine is just flashing lights and only last about 15 minutes. However today the flashing lifhts happeneded every 5 minutes which was very alarming. I had about 5 of them one after the other. They eventyally disappeared but I am scared that they will come back in a day or two. I needd to go to my GP to see what is causing them. I know chocolate can cause them and I I got some chocolate for Easter and eat a lot of it so perhaps that is what cause my fewuent migrains today because I had the chocolate yesterday.

Sounds like an ocular migraine (they tend to be shorter and pain free) can be associated with stress, tiredness, smoking, high blood pressure, being dehydrated amongst other things. I don't think theres medication for them although anti-inflammatory meds can help, along with rest, quiet and drinking water....

Yees I know they are ocular migraines. I need to go and see my GP about them. Because today they happened every 5 minutes I was quite scared so I went to my local hospital and that was useless because the doctor I saw did not help me. I was quite disappointed and all the doctor said was why have you never been to see your GP and I said because they never lasted long and so the doctor said even so you should have gone to your doctor
