just looking advice really , I’ve been under a dietician for years then discharged when I gained weight in pregnancy (was really just my bump) but now since having my daughter I’m back down to my pre pregnancy size (7 stone) and really struggling to put weight on . I was given ensure drinks , they helped a bit but not a lot . Even a few years ago I’d eat the biggest amount of crap everyday , and gain absolutely nothing . I’m still like this now at the age of 22 , and it’s so frustrating cause I just want to gain some weight , healthily .
if I eat too much fat in one meal I feel quite full and don’t want any more food, but then I’m being told I need to eat full fat everything so I try and force myself and have I gained anything ? No.
surely if eating loads of sugar , fat etc isn’t making me put on weight have I hope ? I use healthy fats low like extra virgin olive oil, Greek yoghurt , pumpkin seeds etc

You do seem to have a very low fat diet?

Unless you smoother the potatoes in butter and cream - which tastes great- might be a very easy tweak to your normal dinners?

Throw in a snack of nuts?

Have toast - 2 thick slices with thick peanut butter and an apple for breakfast?

Eat a mid morning snack of cheese and crackers- I'll let you off butter on the crackers ( because I find that vile!) but the cheese should be thick - you need at least three portions of dairy a day - 30g cheese and a glass of full fat milk and a full fat yogurt ( the more natural the better - avoid low fat and anything with sweetness as they tend to be less good for us all ) - if you are underweight a bit more diary might help protect your bones

Perhaps remember that much of the low fat push is because most people have too much of their own fat , and much is the food industry trying to sell you cheap but unhealthy food where the fat is taken out and flavour replaced with junk flavours
