Would you eat beef mince 1 day last use by date?

It's been in the fridge the whole time and is organic (!!) if that makes a difference Grin

If it was unminced then yes because there’s less surface area for bacteria to develop. It depends really on the production date . How long ago was this mince made?

This. Mince has a massive surface area, and you need to stick to the use by date - other meat, yes I would eat one day past.

Posters can make whatever sneery comments they like about Russian roulette, but that is literally what it is

There are some foods that you can be a bit more free with, but some, eg rice, mince, homous, etc which are far more dangerous

I ve cooked and eaten mince when its all gone a grey brown colour, well hung beef is a delicacy.

@malachitegreen If its still mainly bloody, its perfectly fine, how on earth did we survive before use by dates, which of course the food industry will use to get us to throw away perfectly good food and buy some more, boosting their profits.
