The green malachite dust thrown up in North Africa by recent storms is having an unusual effect on the view of the moon from Earth, making it look green. Currently a waning gibbous moon, so quite a large surface to show up the green against. It is quite faint though, so you need to look carefully. You can cut out some of the white glare by looking at it through sunglasses, or a glass of white wine, which all make the green a lot more apparent. It is a bright, vivid green if you catch it at the right angle through the right type of glass
