Foods you couldn't stomach as a child, which you now love!

Just that really! For me, it's chutney. One of my school friends used to have it every day on her sandwiches back in the day and it would make me heave! Now as an adult, I love it and would happily spoon it in my mouth right from the jar! 😁

I still don't like the foods I didn't like as a child - and there are foods I never had as a child that I don't like now. Plus some foods I ate as a child (but wasn't keen on) that I really hate now!

Hated as a child - dark green veg, Brussels sprouts
Wasn't given as a child - hate now. Chili, olives, goats cheese
Was given - hate now. Lamb!

Some foods mentioned here that still make me shudder!!!! Tomatoes, bananas, olives and trifle!! Soggy sponge is just wrong!!!! 😆 Oh and don't get me started on liver. Growing up in the 80s, this was a regular meal for us, that and steak and kidney pie! 🤢

yogurts we are talking 60/70s and there wasnt much choice mainly ski one which tasted vile to me, but nowadays greek yogurt with either honey or black cherrys is food of the gods
