Planning ahead as left DD’s birthday to the last minute last year and I’m still recovering 😂

What did your DD’s love either attending or having themselves? We’ve done the cinema/restaurant thing, done class parties. I want something a bit more interesting for Dd and her friends.

How many friends?

Anything animal related near you? My daughter loved going to petting farms at that age.

My niece loved trampolining. Her and 8 mates, plus her older sister (10). All back to my sister's for tea.

Around that age we did a fun bus that parked outside the house and had a ball pool slide and disco in it.

We once did a chocolate cream tea in a chocolate cafe - sandwich's, hot chocolate and chocolate cakes.

DC has been to the following for 8th parties; Trampoline park, indoor climbing centre, bowling, laser quest, pony party at local riding school, pamper party at a salon, ceramics painting, pizza picnic in the park. For their birthday we took them and one friend to Cadbury World (didn’t want a party, but summer birthday so sometimes feels all the good ideas have already been done!)

I think we did a horse riding one, DD and some of her friends rode at a local stable and we invited them plus 4 more for one hour riding and food + cake.

Other good ones were:
pottery painting
outdoor center you can hire incl. instructors for typical activities brownies/cubs do, archery, balancing, climbing, fire pit for roasting marshmellows
Animal handling (snakes, reptiles etc)

Sorry posted in error! Do you have a local theatre nearby which may be having a panto/musical on if your DD likes that sort of thing

We did a treasure hunt in our local park and had a picnic afterwards.

DC loved it!
However, it was a budget thing for me and I made all the maps myself- one each child as a kind of puzzle to find the picnic spot. They also had to pick up a few bits on the way like blanket paper plates ect.
